Representatives of the company in order to find and attract investments, as well as in order to increase the awareness of the company and the country as a whole, took part in a training seminar - «6th Istanbul PPP Week», organized by the Istanbul Center of Excellence in the Field of PPP (PPP CoE).

The 6th Istanbul PPP Week is organized jointly with the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, the Council for Foreign Economic Relations DEIK, IFC, EBRD, IsDB with the support of renowned universities around the world.

More than 30 countries participated in the event. Academicians and experts of advanced development institutes presented their best practices. Particular attention was paid to issues such as the cost of money taking into account the time factor, investments in the post-pandemic period, successful practice in the implementation of PPP projects in transport infrastructure, prospects for the development of ESG − "Why and how to implement?".

During the presentations, the participating countries presented their experience in the field of PPP. Our representatives of the company were no exception. The staff presented the topic of PPP development, revealed the investment potential in the social infrastructure of Kazakhstan, and also presented the capabilities and services of KPPF.

Following the results of the presentation, the participants showed interest in the services and the mechanism of KPPF work. The agreement has been established to exchange experience with colleagues from countries such as Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Germany, Turkey. There is also interest from potential investors - IC Holding, which has been investing in such sectors as infrastructure construction, energy production and distribution, and tourism since 1969. Great interest in Kazakhstan was shown by the company Yapı Merkezi Group − a construction company operating for more than 50 years, both in Turkey and in foreign markets, with an annual turnover of about $ 1.3 billion. There have been held negotiations with SIEMENS Healthineers, which is ready to provide advisory support within the framework of PPP projects in the healthcare sector.

Participation in the event allowed KPPF employees to adopt international experience and best practices in the implementation of PPP projects, establish partnerships with the international PPP community, establish business ties and discuss prospects for relationships with potential investors.
