A Kazakh-Polish Business Forum was held in Warsaw, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Poland and the National Company Kazakh Invest JSC together with the Polish Business Council with the assistance of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology of Poland, as well as the Polish Agency for Investment and Trade.

The Forum is attended by Kazakhstan and Polish companies representing the fields of agriculture, energy, construction and production of building materials, food, chemical, mining and smelting and pharmaceutical industries. Among Kazakhstani companies are JSC “Development Bank of Kazakhstan”, International Financial Center “Astana”, LLP “Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund”, JSC “NC “Kazakh Invest”.

The Forum is aimed at enhancing trade and economic, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland, strengthening existing and establishing new direct contacts between business partners of these two countries.

Negotiations were held at the Forum with participation of representatives of Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund LLP and JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan with the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) at which conditions for joint cooperation on project financing were discussed.

The Forum also included a presentation of investment projects, opportunities, support mechanisms for business in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund LLP (KPPF) is a subsidiary of Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC. The company was established on March 19, 2014. The KPPF’s goal is defined as facilitation of infrastructure development in the Republic of Kazakhstan through the provision of structuring and maintenance services for infrastructure projects, including the projects based on the PPP mechanism.

Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC is established in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 22, 2013. The aim of the Holding’s establishment is to facilitate the development and diversification of economy, attraction of investments, development of clusters and improvement of the corporate governance system in its subsidiaries. The Holding includes: Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, Investment Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, Housing Construction Savings Bank JSC, Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC, KazExportGarant JSC, Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC, National Technology Development Agency JSC, Mortgage Guarantee Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, KazynaCapitalManagement JSC, Baiterek Development JSC, and Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund LLP.
